Location and geography The Brickell area is south of the mouth of the Miami River, which separates the center – “Downtown” – itself. Its natural boundaries are the Miami River to the north, Biscayne Bay to the east, 32nd Street SE Road south and Interstate-95 west. A small area belongs Brickell Key island linked by a bridge to the city, home to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and condominiums. The coordinates of its center (at the corner of Brickell Avenue and 15 Avenue SW) are 25 45’29 “N 80 11’34” W / 25.75806, -80.19278 (25.75804, -80.1929 ).
